Counter for BONHAM of the East India Company

Early armorial counter with variant swags border with the BONHAM crest  made circa 1770 for HENRY BONHMAM. The Bonham family was very involved with the East India Company - with several recorded as captains of HEIC vessels. Pinson Bonham was in Canton in 1757 and 1761 and probably ordered this set for Henry who was an M.P..
