If ever a single counter was to be selected to show Cantonese workmanship and armorial detail this would be it. Two crests, two mottoes, quarterly arms with an impalement... what more could you ask? Even the motto beneath the arms needs a lot of explanation, being the French translation of the name 'Workman' and a play on words as well. There is not enough space to relate all the detail here! In short it shows the heraldry for WORKMAN- MACNAUGHTEN impaling DUNKIN. And superb artwork as well. Did you notice the lucky bats in the border design to the reverse?
