A counter made for one of the most prominent families of the time. This counter - made around 1800 with a Greek key-fret border - bears the arms of ROTHSCHILD impaling BARENT-COHEN and was probably made for the marriage of NATHAN ROTHSCHILD to HANNAH BARENT-COHEN IN 1806.
